Forming a Social Support System

The USC Family Caregiver Support Center is collaborating with the USC Marshall School of Business to offer some summer programming to employees and community members about family caregiving issues. We cordially invite USC staff and faculty to join us for these on-campus, lunchtime sessions.

Description:   Learn how to avoid caregiver burnout by building and/or maintaining a strong social support system.
Date/Time:  June 21st, 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Location: VPD 302 (Dauterive Hall – next to Popovich Hall, JKP)
Facilitator:  Grace Avila
Grace is a Family Care Navigator with the USC Family Caregiver Support Center. Through her participation in the California Work & Family Coalition, Grace advocates not only on behalf of her clients, but all the working caregivers throughout the state by creating public awareness of the complexities of caregiving.
