Powerful Tools for Caregivers (Los Angeles)

“Powerful Tools for Caregivers” is a six-week class that helps caregivers to reduce stress, make difficult caregiving decisions and prevent burnout. If you’re caring for a family member or friend with a chronic condition (e.g. Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease, stroke), this six-week class will give you the tools to:

  • Take care of yourself
  • Make tough decisions
  • Help you reduce stress
  • Reduce guilt, anger & depression
  • Set goals and problem-solve
  • Communicate effectively with family members, doctors, and paid help

This program will be held in collaboration with Holman United Methodist Church for six consecutive Mondays from August 10th to September 14, 2018, 10:00 am-12:00 pm.
